Flats: Friends or Foes?

The age old question- what shoes look best?

While I am a fan of any heel (of a reasonable height, mind you) I do agree flats are often the most practical option for shoes.  The perks of flats are the lack of ankle rolling, ease over different surfaces, and the ability to remove them quickly.  What began as a beautiful thing can be ruined by shoes with overly rounded toes, making the feet look tiny and the body, by contrast, much larger.

Not all hope is lost.  Flats can be not only functional but very chic as well.  When choosing flats stick with finding a stylish flare- pointed toe, patent material, or bright, fun colors.
